I have 4 weeks of summer holiday starting soon
My pie-in-the-sky dream wish to get myself healthy in this time:
  • Go for a 3-4 km walk every morning
  • Followed by a 20 minute session of Zumba
  • Swim every 2nd day, building up to 1km by the end of January
  • Run every 2nd day, restarting the Couch to 5K program from the beginning
  • Log food into MFP everyday
  • Log into Fitbit everyday
  • Eat a low-cal, high fibre/protein breakfast everyday
  • Cut back on added sugar.  Stick to sugar in fruits & vege
  • Water.  Drink It.
  • Take public transport when going Christmas shopping
  • Take public transport or walk if I am going anywhere 
  • Join a gym
  • Get into routines
  • Look after myself


  1. Aiming high!
    I took the bus to go Christmas shopping last week. It was fine on the way there, but on the way home lugging two enormous unwieldy bags up the hill from the bus stop wasn't so fun. I prefer the car!

  2. A-ha! But that's the idea, so I won't overspend. Or at least, associate overspending with awkward bags on buses.

    And then there is the bonus of extra movements that I wouldn't have necessarily done if I was in the car.
